M/L Size. The Classic Fit.

This hat is designed to fit most adult head circumferences, ranging from 54–59 cm. Thanks to the strong elastic band and adjustable chin strap, it stays comfortable and secure, even through wipeouts.

If you normally wear smaller / kid-sized hats or need extra room for a larger head, our new XS/S and XL sizes may be a better fit. With three options now available, every surfer can find their perfect size in the lineup.

NOTE: If you’re between two sizes, choose the larger one — the hat can always be tightened, but not enlarged.

Integrated Protection: Enhanced safety through our protective insert securing most of your head from unexpected low to medium impacts during the day-to-day surf. Removable for flexible wear.

UPF 50 Sun Protection: Our 7cm brim and UPF 50 fabric shield you from harmful UV rays, ensuring you stay cool and protected under the sun.

Mesh Earmuffs: Minimize water and wind exposure, helping prevent surfer's ear without compromising on hearing.

To ensure your surf hat remains in prime condition, follow these simple care steps:

  1. Rinse After Use: Wash away saltwater and sand with fresh water after each surf session.
  2. Dry in Shade: Avoid direct sunlight; let it dry in a shaded area to preserve color and material integrity.
  3. Loosen Strap: Relieve tension by loosening the adjustable strap after use.
  4. Hand Wash Periodically: Every few months, gently hand wash with mild detergent in lukewarm water to remove accumulated residues. Carefully detach any removable parts before washing. Rinse thoroughly and air dry in the shade.

CE, EN812:2012 & UPF 50 certificates

Our surf hats are tested and meet the rigorous CE standards as well as adhere to the EN812:2012 safety guidelines for bump caps, ensuring good head protection for our customers. Additionally, they provide UPF 50 sun protection, guarding against harmful UV rays during long sessions in the sun.

Half a helmet, floppy rim

Helmet segment covers front, top and sides. Back of head is not protected. I use the helmet for wind watersports and the front rim does not hold stiff. In strong wind front rim flaps around and you lose vision. Solution is to turn the rim up and it holds well but does not shade eyes. It's a very comfortable hat/helmet and looks great. Solve those two issues and its a winner in wind/water sports.

Better than just wearing a hat.

The hat looks nice and it offers lite protection on the front, sides and top of your head. There is NO protection on the back of your head. I am at the low end of the size range and I wish it could fit a little better.

At the moment, we are working with certified and market-tested bump cap inserts, which are generally open at the back to allow for adjustments. That said, we are also in the process of developing a 360° protective insert, which will certainly be available in the future! 😉

Just buy it!

Cannot express how much this helped my confidence and comfort in the water. I live in a place with tons of drop ins which have lately lead to a death in the water. This helmet is super comfy in the water and gives that added bit of protection that I need for those moments when I might not be totally able to save myself.

Me encanta el color, la forma y sobre todo su doble uso, con casco para surfear en roca o con muchos surfistas, y sin casco para otras ocasiones dentro y fuera del agua!

Does not fit all sizes

Hat and integrated helmet are well designed and look quite fancy.
They seem to be of good and durable quality.
However, they do not "fit all sizes", as advertised.
They will probably be good for heads measuring up to 60 cm circumference.
Larger heads go unserved, unfortunately...
I will have to send them back... :-(

You're right regarding the sizing. While the hat fits most adult heads (up to 60 cm), we’ve come to understand that “one size fits all” doesn’t truly serve everyone and changed this. That’s why we’re already working on expanding our range to include XS and XXL sizes — so more surfers can find their perfect fit.
